Question 98 xplorer quits when hot! Need help ASAP

Hi guys i'm new here, but have a emergency as I have a ride in a few days. I have a 98 xplorer and when it gets hot its quits. I already changed the coil and it still does it, when I let it sit a 10 to 15 minutes it starts up and runs fine but then quits again. Recently I had the head gasket replaced well a year or 2 ago, but thats not the problem. Is the stator bad? Where can I get a service manual for free at?

If its not against the forum rules can people lease email me with solutions/trouble shooting to vmskozak@hotmail.com as I will be outside and can get the answers on my blackberry.
thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Realize you're outside, but the first thing I'd look at is compression. Also may want to check the tank vent line for any kinks or clogs.

I got the problem fixed! YAY! The shop who installed a new head gasket put the fuel line in between the tank and frame smashing it! So over the last couple of years it must of smashed more and more from aging. I rerouted it behind the rear tank frame bracket and its ll good.
thanks for your help

Good to hear you're up and running. And it was a cheap fix as well.
