Riding Boots, Nerf Bar Questions
#1
I have recently bought a pair of Thor T-20 riding boots. I was riding on my 300EX and noticed that they are really stiff, so stiff that I have to shift with my whole foot, instead of my ankle. I was wondering is the anyway I can make them more flexible at the ankles? Also I am thinking about buying some Graydon nerf bars, I think I will get the chromed steel because alot of my quad and helmet is chrome. But is the aluminum worth paying $50 more than the steel ones? Thank you for your replies.

Just keep wearing the boots and thay will break in. As far as the nerf bars I have the aluminum ones because thay are less maintence. A couple of my frinds have the crome ones and if thay don't clean them throughly after every ride thay will pit and rust. Thay may look nice but are a real pain in the but to keep looking nice.

I like Alpinestars, anyway Graydon nerfs don't fill in the hole behind the pegs where your foot falls into the rear tire. My AC pro pegs have a full plate and pocket back there, much better. On bad landing or big jumps your foot can fall off the peg and get run over very important..

Thanks for all of the replies. I have been riding with the boots on for about a week now. Today was the first day i did not miss a shift with them on. As far as the nerf bars , I think I am gonna get the Graydon aluminum nerfs ( red ). Thank you again for all your replies.
