Default foreman 450 shifter

Hey All,

Picked up a 2002 foreman 450 a couple of weeks ago, it is manual shift & I was wondering how hard it is to shift with boots on during fall/winter riding.....has anyone tried out the tusk hand shifters or a heel & toe type shifter? Thanks for your inputs!!!!!

I have the same bike. I ride with Redwing steeltoe boots and have no problem with shifting. I don't know if it would be tougher with something like a big hunting boot. If anyone knows of a heel/toe shifter I would be interested in one.

Thanks for the reply, I have looked on ebay to check a heel toe shifter & theres an ergo one listed (heel & toe) but I think the yr range was 2001 & older.........mine is a 2002....can't believe 2002 is different, maybe a different diameter shaft?
