My 2005 500 HO carb goes into stutter mode right after entering deep water,and somtimes the hot light comes on at same time.All electrical connections have been cleaned and greased. Does this sound like a CDI problem? Also it is very hard on fuel,but runs fine otherwise. Have replaced carb,no difference.

 

have you checked for leaks in your airbox or white smoke blowing out the exhuast?
