Exclamation 05 polaris sportsman WEIGHT for plowing

I have a 05 polaris sportsman 500 HO and i have a plow for it. Last year the front used to bottom out backing up my neighbors driveway. I put those homemade spacers in and they are awesome. But when i back up the driveway the plow weighs more then me so when i sit on the back rack it dont do anything. My question is the driveway i plow is steep and i back up it and i end up in the grass and sliding all around. So can i make any kind of weights to put in the hitch receiver so it would add some weight. My dad said it is not good for the quad so i dont know. I was think like makeing like a small thing like they make for cars to carry deer but big enough for like 3 cinder blocks.
Thanks, Polaris Man With Issues

How about a couple of sand bags on the back rack?

+1 on this idea. this way you dont have things sticking out in the way. and or forget that its back there and back into something..... like a garage door or worse a car. you can easly add weight to the rack. least 200lbs. the trailer hitch i wouldnt put evon a 100lbs on them. this way you have a but more space to back right up to the door. i also spary with a 25gal boom sprayer during summer and it weighs atleast 300lbs + full. it will almost make me do a wheelie with no problem.

Yep, sandbags on the rack is probably your best bet. Make sure to strap them down so they don't fall off. If you still need more traction, put on some tire chains.
