I have a 86' 200SX. Recently I ordered a new rear fender for it. I decided that since the new rear fender won't match the old front fender, I would paint the whole thing camo. You can get 4 different spray cans of camo paint from a local store and you can mix them up for a good camo combo. My question is this...how should I prep the plastic for the paint? Is there some sort of plastic primer or something I should use or what? Or do I need to scuff it up with sanding paper or something? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure the plastic is clean and dry, and do not paint if it is under 40 degrees

I would rub it with sand paper first so that it will stick better.
