Default opinion on buying an 06 800 sportsman???

I don't know much about polaris atv's- but I found a guy selling his 06 800 sportsman for $5k- 173 miles and 40 hours of use, 3000lb winch, 60" Glacier II minute mount plow, up graded polaris alloy wheels, front and rear cargo racks, rear rack extender, rear work light, polaris hand gaurds, front & rear bumpers / brush gaurd.

It looks pretty nice- what do you guys think-

it's either that, or an 07 can-am 650 h.o. 2-up for $5500.

The polaris is real close to me though- the can-am is an 8 hour round trip.

Where's it at so I can come buy it out from under you? LOL. Actually looks like a good deal. If I were in the market for another quad right now I'd have a hard time walking away from a deal like that with such low miles & hours.

it has a nada book of $4300 for the low and $5600 for the high so it's not a bad deal. check the cv joints real good as well see if the radiator is full of mud to see if it was rode hard. imo

I kinda understand the 650 max idea because its a two up ATV, but going from a 750 brute with 250 miles to a regular SP800 is not much of a uprade to bother with. Easier just to get a used plow for your 750.

I actually have a plow for my brute-
The 2-up was the original reason for going with the can-am (which also comes with a plow), I'm just stressing over the 8 hour round trip drive- I guess I'll just suck it up

I guess you're right- the extra 50cc on the popo is just pushing the the extra weight of the atv- those popo's are quite heavy!

th 06' 800 is not faster or more power then the 750 BF, but it rides a heck alot better for sure. if 2 up is what your looking for then the cam am would be a better choice. imo
