My buddies Sportsman 400 is destroying belts about avery 50 miles and getting worse. He has an aftermarket front spring but otherwise is clutch is stock. He machine has about 2000 miles on it, should I be looking at something else common on this machine that would cause this?

check clutch alignment, amke sure there is no delamanted on the clutch sheeves that should eat the belt as well. check to sure the engine mounts are not broke causing misalignment under a load. imo
