Hot seat perf has a good kit that will help with the engine. The kit consists of a pipe with silencer a K&N air filter and it also comes with a hypershift clutch kit. Also if I where you I would try to mod out your air box for more air flow by making the mouth larger I did this on my scram with a peice of aluminum pipe and maybe invest in a larger carb.

Personally I would hold off for the HPD reed conversion kit. There is speculation that it will be putting out somewhere between 35-40 hp at the crank.

Give HPD a call to get the details. This kit would be by far the hottest thing for TB owners!

Good Luck,

EC

Here's what I would do if I had $2K to play with, and it probably won't cost that much if you do most of the labor yourself.

HPD Pipe and Clutch Kit
Bore it and add a wiseco piston
Port the clyinder and mill the head
38mm carb
Remove airbox and add uni filter
Add the HPD reed cage option when available
Aluminum rims and Holeshot or Razr tires
Remove the oil tank and pre-mix your gas
remove the starter and and battery - use pull start
Remove flooboards and add nerf bars
Get aftermarket rear shock and front struts

I'd work with HPD ( www.hpd-inc.com ) on most of the engine work and tell them your building an MX bike. You can also talk to HotSeat and RCR ( www.hotseatperformance.com and www.rittercyle.com )

Just make sure you do your homework on everything before you rush out and buy a bunch of parts. Good luck.

Contact HPD and talk to Darrell. Ask him about there full blown race modded TB. It will have a different head than the reed converted TB's.
Its about 38-40 hp and runs on 110 octane gas.
The price is ??????????????????????????

I would get the HPD kit but if you are going to start racing before it comes out then work on the weight of it how to get it handling good. For weight lose the elec start lights an everthing else not need for racing. Cut off the floor boards an get a set of aloy nerfs. Change to a 18" rear tire. Take the head in an shave it .020 off it.The shocks im using now an are working really good for me is the 1.5 fox shock from Polaris for the rear. For the front im running the stock sturts because the fox ones from polaris will not fit on the TB strut housing. The spings in the front are the medum springs in there book the stiffest ones they have will cause you to blow the top seal out of the struts. I have clutch thing I use an it runs great in the small track im on where there is not many long runs for need top end. Well if you want to know more stuff e-mail me I have pic's of my TB at luches site an my briefcase at yahoo been racing it for 3 1/2 years
