Have a line on a 98 warrior 350, It looks like it is in good shape,It is all in one piece, Is this a good starter atv for a new rider,We ride on hard pack, roads, trails in the Californa desert. The asking price is 1500$ but I think that I can get him down to 1350$ Good deal? Thank You guys for your input!!

That price is right in the ballpark for a good used Warrior. In my opinion it's a great beginner quad for someone looking to get into sport atvs. I would try harder to get it in that $1300 bracket if possible however just in the case you may need minor repairs that aren't noticeable. This will keep your investment a good one.

$1500 is pretty average for a decent warrior. If you can get it closer to $1300 that obviously would be better. I would definitely say it is a good starter bike. You will hear a lot of pros and cons about the bike but truthfully, you can't beat a warrior for a reliable and capable first time bike. Be prepared for some minor repairs as well, though. It shouldn't need anything right off but you can expect some small things to be wrong on a $1500 bike. Good luck!

I have a 2000 Yamaha Warrior and i love it. I got mine for $1200 and i dont regret it at all. i was lucky because the dude i bought it from loaded it with goodies. Exhaust, jet kit, k&n air filter, +2" A-Arms, borded and it came with maxxis tires on douglas rims so it is pretty quick, the only thing i hated is it seems like there always has to be something wrong with the ignitoin and the handaling could be improved.
