Looking for a wiring diagram for 150 giovanni "monster" quad.Had to order new wiring harness suspect pins are in wrong place.cdi blew up when plugging new harness in and tring to start engine

 

I bet you had an AC powered CDI and new the wiring harness is wired for a DC powered CDI. When you do that your old CDI goes up in flames when you turn on the ignition.

Use the procedure in that thread to see if your new wiring does indeed provide DC power to the CDI. Then look at your stator to see if you have the AC power wire coming out of it. Once we know that info we can decide what to do next.
