Default Sportsman 700 Rear Drive

Hey guys I am replacing the u-joints in the rear drive driveshaft of a 2004 Sportsman 700. I have knocked the pins out but can't seem to get the drive shaft out. Am I just not holding my mouth right or does the rear end have to be unbolted and slid back to remove the driveshaft?
Thanks!

Thanks and you were correct. Fixed it last night and wasn't a big deal at all sliding back the rear end back. The worst part was getting the old u joint out. I ended up have to cut it out with a torch.
