Default Runmaster 50 (no spark)

I am working on a 2008 Runmaster 50, that cranks over fine, but has no spark. Three little kids have been riding it for several months, and other then an axle repair, a little frame repair, and a battery replacement, it has been fine. This time the "tether kill switch" fell apart and after bypassing it the machine will not start and has no spark. I assume that I have a CDI problem and am wondering where the best place to buy one.??

How did you bypass the "tether switch"? The way to bypass the switch is to simply unplug the wires running to it. If you short across the switch wires that *kills* the spark.

Thanks for the info. and yes that was the problem, we had joined the tether wires together. We undid the splice and the machine fired up.
Thanks Ray
