Default Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. High altitude Jetting

I know it's been asked a million times. I live at about 1500ft, going to Lake City, Co, which is around 8700ft and up. Jet or not jet, (I will have a passenger) ?? Or drilling holes in air box ?? Or ????

i would not be drilling holes. you may ned to do both jetting and clutching w/ that high. you will loose power for sure but don't know how much and if your going to stay that high for very long how much of a need it is. should be a chart some where stating what changes need to be made.
