Alright here is the deal.I am thinking of getting rid of my 250r.I love it and think it is awesome. Here is the thing though. My parents have so much money into it that they never let me ride it.Only when I race well I never race!I never get to ride it and all it does is sit there.I am thinking of trading it for a 400ex that I can ride and and still race.Maybe xc though not mx.
what do you guys think?I am stupid or what?
You guys may think I am whining that I never get to ride it but I am not.I am tired of ridin the blaster because I can't hardly move around and the brakes SUCK!

Keep the 250R.There is a reason that these bikes are at least 12yrs old and still demand top dollar. Why dont you save up and sell the Blaster and buy the 400EX then you will have the best of both worlds.Or talk your parents into letting you drive the "R" more, even if it has to be detuned some.Keep it.

I have been thinking about this for a couple weeks now.And I finnally think I made up my mind.I think tinner is right.I won't ever be able to have a 250r as nice as the one I have now again. When I graduate high school I am hoping my parents give it to me as my graduation gift.I am going to sell the blaster for sure though. It is alright but I can't move around and the brakes plain make it dangerous!Other than the brakes it is an excellent shape and I think I can get 1000 out of it and save up some and maybe wither by an LT250r or a 300 or 400 of my own.
The 300ex we have know my little sister rides so I can't mod it.I REALLY like it though and think it is a great little bike. But I rode my cousin's 400ex and I REALLY LOVE it.
