Default Demand Drive Fluid vs Type F ATF/Front Hubs

I was going through a Polaris service manual and noticed a mention that Type F transmission could be used in the place of Demand Drive Fluid on the older Hillard clutch hubs like on my 99.Anyone run Type F in their hubs? I was going to change my hub oil and do a retorque on the bearing to specs,I've got some Demand drive fluid left but plenty of Type F

I use the Type F, and don't have any problems with my 4x4.

My Clymer manual says you can use type "F" also, I just use the Polaris stuff though for peice of mind, its cheap and a bottle can do many hub oil changes.

Well at least we have a choice on the fluids, wish I'd known last year when I was replacing my armature plates/seals one Sat morning and we had a big ride that Sunday at Big Woods ATV Park in NC,drove 30 miles to the dealer and they were out of stock so I missed out on the ride,I remember asking the dealer that day can I put any other fluid in the hubs and he said no,I happen to have 3 of Polaris's service dept large binder service books I got 2 months ago and each say to use either fluid and I was wondering if others used the Type F with no issues

Type F or any good synthetic motor oil works just fine.
