Exclamation railroad ties........

So i just came back from a ride and i was on a railroad riding for a short distance and on the ties between the tracks my quad shut off 3 seperate times!!!! Its a 2002 polaris Trail Boss 325. Does anyone know why this would have happened? The only thing i can come up with is the bouncing caused the float to bounce and flood me out. I immediately tried to restart all 3 times and it took maybe 12 seconds of cranking for it to start up again. (Glad i wasnt running from a train!!!!) After the startup it wouldnt rev all the way for a few seconds, and then i smelled a faint gas odor. Just curious to see what anyone can say about this.

it could be the float or just the vibaration making the gas foam up. i would suggest electrical where it just shut off(like loosing connection)but it wouldn't or shouldnt have any ill reving issues after. imo
