1998 polaris sportsman 500

can i use a 2003 500ho motor for my 1998 500

Yes, Same motor only the Cam is different,the H.O cam has a higher duration and the H.O use a larger 40mm carb but the H.O will run on your 34mm carb without re jetting.

thank you wasnt sure but my 98 has alot wrong with it and i have an 03 thats totalled
