Default Transmision Fill Plug 07 800 X2

I can't get the flippin trans fill plug out. Of course the drain plug comes right out. Rapped on it a couple times, penetrating fluid, WD-40 and some heat for a last effort. No luck. It won't be long before I strip the head. I through in the towel and gave it another soaking of WD. What else?

I've had the same problem on a couple fill plugs, ended up using my snap-on stripped screw/bolt tools to remove the plug using a cheater bar and replacing with a new plug! Drain plugs are never a problem! Can't explain, but I had already changed the fluid on one previously and didn't over tighten! They seem to tighten and freeze up on their own at times.Might have to do something with them actually being a hollow plug and expanding?? OPT

just drain it, flip the bike over and refill through the same hole.

Default good and bad

Got the fill plug out today with a pneumatic impact wrench. Should have used that in the first place. I did manage to snap a wheel stud while removing the tire. Go figure.
