Default Brakes Your input needed Thanks

Question???
Had to replace my brake pads on the X2 and of course the ones I got were aftermarket (My Bad). Well there junk!! They stop good but Lots of squeaking and vibrations. What’s your idea on the composite of what you would use? The ones I got were Sintered Brontz brake pads. Would you get Kevlar or ceramic? My riding conditions are very sandy and wet at times. Also just FYI were talking about an X2 and its dry weight just less than 1000lbs.

ebc used to a good replacement. squeezing is usually from a metal lined brake pad for long lasting.

I agree...go with severe duty...I get more than 3 times as many miles out of severe duty pads as I do w/ just factory replacement. I buy mine off Rocky Mountain ATV.

The best we found was EBC brand "SV SERIES SEVERE DUTY BRAKE PADS" they last much longer then the OEM ,especially on our 97 SP500 with no EBS.

SV SERIES SEVERE DUTY BRKAE PADS - JCWhitney

Riding habbits help also, I might touch my brakes 5 times on a long trail ride while people in front of me seem to touch them on ever turn and small slow hill there is on the trail.

I've always had good luck with ebc and you can get them much cheaper than stock on e-bay.
