KFX80 LT80 petcock swap
#1
My shop had its fill of the crappy fuel pump style petcock.
We now install Yamaha PW80 petcocks.
Since gravity feeds, the pump is not needed and u also get the benefit of REAL fuel off AND a REAL reserve function.
Hope this helps anyone out there

Thanks, is it a direct replacement for the stock unit? This has been on my list of things to do as I would like a true shutoff when loading it into the toyhauler. I have also heard of people using Banshee petcocks in place of the stock one.

Stock LT80 petcocks don't pump. It's a diaphram that is suposed to open the petcock when vaccum is made.
Suzuki LT160 and LT250r petcocks work also.
The banshee petcocks are cheap but the hose barbs are bigger.
A 3 dollar on/off valve from the lawn mower section of autozone does the same job.
