Default Lights flashing after 5-10 minutes of riding????

Details: 2002 700 Sportsman

While riding last night, my lights started flashing. This happened 5 or 10 minutes into the ride. I know my battery is fully charged, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

My headlights, I tried switching to high beam and it was flashing as well. They weren't dim, they were just flashing on and off.

Where is that located? I have took that beast apart several times, and have never seen a circuit breaker to my knowledge

20A ciurciut Breaker 2410323 Part #2 OEM motorcycle and ATV parts from Honda, Yamaha & Polaris – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Maybe a loose connection somewhere that acts up as you hit bumps.

look for a black plastic wterproof pouch, circuit breaker is in there. you might have two or three, another clue is to turn the lights on and when they start flashing, you should hear a clicking, that is the faulty breaker, also the pouch or breaker will feel warm. they can be picked up at any auto parts store

Sounds like this is you problem and fix.

these can cause the headlights and pod lights to flash on and off and go blank. I used an automotive replacement instead of the $27 polaris 20 amp breaker.
