Just got a 2001 Yamaha Warrior - had been sitting for 3 yrs!
Started fine-ran good for one ride - Now appears to be running lean.....Pops....runs real rough and won't stay running without the choke on!

I took the carb off, it's totally clean.
Can't figure out what is wrong!
When I got it the fuel tank was bone dry.
Put all new gas in, new battery and spark plug. Need help to figure this out!

 

I would clean the carb, even if it seems clean and check the fuel flow to the carb.

 

you would probably drain the gas from the tank, clean the carb, spark plugs and do some oil changes because its probably black right now

 

pilot jet in carb is plugged if you have to keep the choke on
