If the transmission switch in the shifter is stuck giving voltage to the (purple) reverse wire, will this disengage the starter button?
I ohmed out the wires to the tranny switch and they are all showing infinite resistance. With the key switch on I have about 7.5v on the purple reverse wire no matter what gear its in.
Seems like a bad switch but I need to know if this will cause the starter switch assembly to not work, starter button, lights, etc.
