As I said in previous posts, I purchased a new Raptor but was un-happy with the ride. Thanks to you guys for the input and Czebs Marine and Cycle. I have traded off the 1 week old Raptor for a new Kodiak. Doing the exchange tomorrow. I will let you all know how the new ride rates... Thanks again for your help...

For your situation it was probably a good move going with the Kodiak. Good luck.

Visa,

I don't think you'll regret the move, especially since you spend most of your time riding with a youngster. Sport utilities can usually be just as much fun, and in some ways even more fun. A good friend has a Kodiak, as well as his dad, and they both wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING else. I know the stickers say different, but you'll enjoy giving rides on the Kodiak that you just can't do on the Raptor very easily (such as your wife, neighborhood kids, etc.).

Look forward to your thoughts about your new ride...

Raptorrider2001,

Just admit it. I know you're going to make the trade! When you do, lets plan a trip to Mena, AR. I hear there's a nice National Park there with a lot of trails marked by skill levels (kinda like ski slopes).
