Eton viper 50 tether strap prob

Default Eton viper 50 tether strap prob

My son was riding his Viper 50 when the tether strap got snagged and it ripped the entire device from the wires so now it won't start is there a way to bypass this or some other way to fix this please help!

""Usually"" the tether grounds out the motor. If so, tape both ends of the wires (I'm presuming that there are 2). It sounds like 1 wire is grounding out.
OR
You can try connecting the 2 wires if the tether operates backwards.
1 or the other should get it going.

Etons operate backwards. You need to wire the two tether switch leads together to get spark. Leaving them disconnected kills spark.
