Default Polaris 50cc predator (2004) loss of power.

Hey guys. Need a little help here. Got an 04 predator (50cc) that had a loss of power. Pulled the tranny cover and found that the belt looked good, but there was oil present and the belt was wet. Is this normal? If not, what would cause it? Also, need help figuring out how to get that kickstarter back in place. That spring is a pain. Any help would be great!
Thanks,

jon

There shouldn't be oil in the belt area that's for sure. Maybe a main seal.
Sorry, can't help w/kickstarter. Most all I've seen stays on the clutch cover and wasn't a issue durring clutch maint.

There is no oil in the motor (2 stroke). Odd huh? Baffled.

I understand that.
I did neglect to mention that it could be the gearbox gasket.

Is it possible that oil from the oil tank directly above has leaked in over time or through the vent tube? I pulled it all apart and don't see a clear leaking point. On a good note I was able to fix the clutch issues. It now has full power and breaks the rubber loose in our driveway. Just gotta find that leak.
