Default Sportsman 800 2006

Need some help- the 4x4 stopped work. The light shows up on the pod but will not kick the front wheels into action. Where should I start? I read the asm could be bad- but I don't know what that is. Also they say a plastic pcs on the front could break? Can anyone help?

I tore down the front diff tonight- the cage is in one pc with a couple cracks and the roller are full of crap. The cage is not broke into pcs though, I plan to order all new but is there anything else it could be since it's not broke into pcs. Or could the cracks and rolls be causing it.

John deer parts are much cheaper , money wise,
Roller kit# MIA10666
Cage kit#MIA10667
Seal KIT #MIA10654, take your old cage an rollers with you to make sure their right if its cracked and dirty thats probably the problem

if the roller cage is cracked you have found your issue. make sure to clean the fornt end out god and put the proper polaris front end oil only back in or maybe what john deere sells for their hillard front ends. imo
