How to bypass reverse over ride button

Default How to bypass reverse over ride button

I have a 1999 sp 500 and for some reason my reverse over button dose not work, when i press it i still have two wheel drive when backing up, when it should be letting my back up in awd, just wondered if there is a bypass for this so i don't ever have to worrie about useing the button. ty

is your bike reveing up while backing up or is the override kicking in even w/ the button pushed? just wondering if the override button is not working for both?

Not sure, i'll check tonight, guess i really didn't pay attention. i belive it was reving up though just no awd, but going forward the awd worked great.

It dose rev up, awd just will not engage.

if it's reving up w/ out pushing in the override, then some thing is wrong guesing w/ the override system.
