check out Mystic Hills Campground Deadwood area. Nice cabins, resturant, bar, and easy access to miles and miles of trails

I got a couple buddies that head out there with their families and they usually go around the spearfish or deadwood area and they just rent a cabin out there for a short week. No need for maps there are trails EVERYWHERE and they don't care if you get off the train just NO TRAIL BLAZIN!!! (everyone can take a different route off the trail to get to the destination but don't follow each other!)

Check out www.recsprings.com for lodging they are atv friendly. And for maps the first of december the forestry dept came out with trail maps.

When we would ride the hills we rode south of rec springs trying to stay away from the people and private property. I don't know what is going to happen with the new trail system and the gf&p regulations and all.

Nemo Guest Ranch of the Black Hills

Great place right in the middle of the black hills. It is between Sturgis and Rapid City. If you need a trail sticker, you should be able to buy it here.

Lots of good riding in the Blacks Hills. I was there a few years ago and we stayed right on the edge of Hill City and trail access was right across the road. I have heard others thta stayed in the Deadwood area and were pleased.

Since we were there the laws on where you could ride changed. I would get in touch with the local forest service for new clarifications.

I really enjoyed it out there and would like to try to get out there again this summer.

I would suggest contacting the Forest Service in Spearfish to get the latest maps and rules because the rules have changes there is a license fee also.
