Default 2000 Arctic cat 300 4x4x

Hi guys,
Could some one please help, I need a wiring schematic for my 2000 300 4x4 red. I only have 3rd and 5th on the dash and cant use the starter button. I can pull start or jump the solenoid. All the fuse's work as they should, Once its started it runslike a dream. any help would be awsome!

did you test the small wires on the selenoid. Unhook the small wires from the selenoid and put to paper clips in the connector and hook up your volt meter to the paper clips and push the start button if you get voltage replace the selenoid. take the gas tank off and check for a broken wire by the steering post. on your gear indicator lights you are most likely going to have to replace that whole assembly.

So it shouldnt have volts at the small wires? I have power to the starter button, And all the wires to the dash are good, Im banging my head against the wall, Thanks for your help!

yes it should have i think 10 or 12 volts or battery voltage.

check all your wires for rubbing and or "chewing" a mouse got a hold of my power wire coming from the starter to the fuse box and screwed the bike out of power to everthing. I repaired the wire and its running fine now....that being said...i had to take the entire wiring harness out to find the problem...i hope you can find the issue without doing that.
