I know the carb is clean and all the jets. Ive done it twice. When I push the override button nothing changes ,forward or reverse. It idles great and when you give it just a little gas it does great. When i open the throttle a little more it seems like the rev-limiter kicks in and it runs bad.This happens in forward reverse or neutral. You can smell the exhaust kind of strong. I also pulled the choke to see if it needed more fuel, It died instantly. Any ideas?

 

welcome to the forum. you may want to check the etc for adjustament. it should have 1/8" slack in the throttle cable at your throttle box on the handle bar. this is to prevent the bike from taking off if the throttle was to stick wide open. it makes it go into a rev limiter mode. imo
