Default Help needed with purchase

I am looking to purchase 2 new 4x4 ATV's for general ranch work. This is to replace 4 ageing Kawasaki prarie 400's. I will daily during the summer (if in drought) reposition a 1200 Lb water reel and pull out 600' of line. The prarie 400 is loaded hard at the end of the pull with the drag resistance of the line.
I am considering a Sportsman 500HO as they can be had for $5200.00 each.
I am concerned of Polaris quality, long term dependability and reliability.
I need to move fast. All advice is appreciated!

In think the 500 Ho would be perfect for you, use low gear and 4wd when moving the water reel , it wont even know its back there, alittle maintenance and they will last along time, I service a 500 6x6 that is a 2001, has beeen on a ranch its w hole life, has 12-13000 miles on it and still going, I have had to fix it a few times cause the kids recked it , but havent touched motor or tranny other than oil changes, ect

+1 The 500's are great machines. Just remember to do the maintenance and should be good to go for many miles. I've talked to guys with polaris that hate them and say they're junk but they also don't maintain them and that is usually the cause of their problems. Go figure?
