Hello, i have a off road go cart 150cc it runs good but when it comes to any large hills it fall on its face does about 5 mhr tell ya get to the top then picks up speed. Any one can tell me why this happens and what to do to fix.i put the pedal to the floor but is really slow up hill,thought i was going to have to get out and push it.thanks for your help.

 

Is the engine bogging down, or is it revving high but moving slow?

 

when i had my gokart, the CVT did great on fairly level ground and some small hills and creek beds. it could not start out in sand or immediately climb a hill from a dead stop. i had to get a run at those because of the CVT's actions. be careful or you'll burn it up.
