I was wondering if anybody knows any aftermarket companies that make bushing kits for the sportsman xp's. I was switching tires in my fiances 550 and couldn't believe the amount of play in the bushings. I checked my 850 and they are loose also. They both have under 500 miles on them. From reading other forums it doesn't sound like the polaris ones are that good. That is why I am looking for aftermarket ones.

 

Over 3400 miles on my 09 XP and "zero" play or wear. They get greased every 50 hrs.

 

Mine have get greased after any muddy rides or about every third dry ride. Not mad at polaris or brand bashing I love the machine but would like something that would last a little longer. All the rears are fine.

 

I just replaced every a-arm & shock bushing on my 09 xp850- has about 400 miles on it. Very easy to replace, but you're right- the polaris bushings suck- even brand new bushings have a little play in them.

I'd be interested in finding some decent aftermarket bushings as well.

 

my 2010 XP 850 has 500 miles on it and the thing is back in the shop getting all kinds of work done cause its falling apart. They told me all the A-arm bushings are shot and I asked if they would put aftermarket ones in and they told me under warranty, only polaris parts are covered.

 

All ***** emailed me back and said they will have a kit soon. I will probably try them and see how they hold up.

 

I guess this is what happens when you have something that works and then you try to build it cheaper. Go figure.
