I am having trouble with it starting when hot it satarts fine when I start out but if I shut it down it wont start until the engine cools down acts like a dead battery or bad solanoid and I have to roll it off once it cools down it will start no problem

 

Explain the no start! Do you mean engine doesnt turn over or turn slow? Or do you mean turns over fine but won't start up?

 

It acts like the batery is going dead it tries to turn over but just can't turn a litle then stops sometimes it just clicks. I thought it might be the batery but when it cools down will start just fine

 

Oh okay! Could be battery or charging system not working, I guess i would put an volt meter on batt an check charging rate! Crank up engine an revvup bout half throttle should be 13.1 to 14.1 at the least. Also starter could be dragging.

 

I rode my 1989 350 Big Bear Moto4 for 4 years without a battery installed and a bad solenoid, two pulls tops to get it going even in the snowy cold winter morning.
