Didn't anyone tell you? you can't get a Polaris wet,or dirty, or they won't run....lol. Sounds like you got water into a fuse holder,or have a loose or cracked fitting on a regulator or cdi that allowed water to get in, maybe you will have to unplug all the wires under the seat and by the electronics and blow them out with an air gun to see if there is moisture anywhere, also a good time to dab a little dielectric grease on all plugs to keep out water in the future.

Start by pulling front cover under headlight pod and headlight pod upper part. If you access to an air compressor, blow any remaining water out of areas. Best to remove electrical connections and use die electric grease on connections to seal out any future water problems.Common problem a lot of my customers had and was even worse if they used a high pressure car wash or home unit. Lot of areas water can get into! OPT

It's always a good idea after you wash your machine to start it and let it run for awhile . Let it fully warm up which helps dry things out and prevent problems like you had . I first use a pressure washer then after that I wash by hand usually 2 times a week . In all that time and miles I'l never not had it start , but I don't have fuses to worry about tho .
