yamaha big bear 350 fluid question...
#1
i recently bought a used yamaha big bear 350. trying to go through all the fluids to make sure it's good to go but i have come across something that i can't figure out. on the left side near the pull cord there is a plug with a flat head slot for removal. unscrewing it, it's obvious some sort of fluid is supposed to be in there but i can't find any mention of it in the manual though i may have overlooked it. there's also no dipstick so i wouldn't know how much to add. any help would be greatly appreciated. checked the engine oil & gear oil and they both look good. needs a little brake fluid but that's in the manual.

Vang is right on, there are actually 2 of those, a big one on the side of the case, thats where you put the socket to turn the crank, and the smaller one above it, where you look for the timing marks.
