Default 2005 polaris phoenix problems

I have removed and cleaned the carb and made all adjustments per manual I down loaded from select manuals. When I engage choke to start with the lever, the flapper does not close, seems to float free. I am wondering if there is something missing from the right side of the carb, as I can see choke shaft and I can close it with a small screw driver and engine will start. Once warmed up it will restart all day. Parts list from Polaris and down loaded manual does not show (enricher) choke shaft or parts.

Welcome to the forum! Check the choke cable stop bracket at the carb, probably slipped out and is just pulling cable and not the butterfly valve OR possibly cable came out of choke arm.(Should be a small bracket and screw holding cable in place!). OPT
