ive just bought a polaris trailblazer 250 2003 model,itshad the ignition switch damaged ,ive bought a new switch but theres no block connector to plug in ,so ive got 6 wires could you let me know which wires and colours go where thanks

When you say block connector, do you mean plug? Sounds like someone just cut out the ignition system. For what reason I can only speculate, but my guess would involve the legality of ownership.

Two things I'd do. Check to see if it's stolen. If it's not, buy an owners manual.

 

Plus Polaris doesn't offer just the connector end for the switch, only the complete harness for around 200 dollars! Try E-bay or a salvage yard for a used harness or connector if it ain't a HOT machine!! OPT

 

thanks for your replies,the quad was stolen from me when police recovered it the ignition was ripped out thats why i now have this problem, ive bought the new switch but without the plug off the harness im going to struggle ,ill try find a breakers for a second hand one ..thanks
