Idle ajustment
#1
I messed about with the idle screw a while back and messed up the correct settings for the carb. It is now fixed and the quad runs fine. On the throttle cable the adjustment is fully out and no thread left and can adjust no more, but i need to give a small amount of throttle to idle. So im guessing i am going to have to adjust the idle screw. Would i be correct here in saying, get the quad heat up then turn screw slowly clockwise till revs raise? This is basically lifting the needle?

Yes this is what you need to do.. after you get it to idle with the idle screw.. back off the cable adjustment so you have a little free play..
