After removing and cleaning the carb due to ethenol in gas. Ran ATV with straight gas ( no ethenol )and everthing was fine for awhile, now I'm getting a mild backfire thru carb and the ATV will not idle without choke partialy engaged. No kinks or blocked lines. Any info/help will be appreciated.

 

If it only runs with the choke on then sounds like you need to check the carb jets again,plus did you just try to clean or did you replace the needle and seat? Check for any black specs in the carb bowl also ( fuel line breakdown). If you get it running right use some Marine Stabil and you wont have to worry about fuel breakdown,water,etc. OPT
