ok so my son has a 110 cc atv we went out one day and the bike kept quitting i removed the tether kill switch seen it was deformed on the inside and stuffed card board in side the bike started up went for a while and quit again looked the card board was ripped so i assume its that particular kill switch is there anyway to bypass it ? i can disconnect it will that work? the bike is fairly new 2 months or so made in 2011.

To "bypass" this kill switch you simply unplug the wires going to the tether switch. Follow the wires on the back side of the tether assembly and find the connector where they plug into the main wiring harness. Unplug it here.
Do not short the wires together in the harness - leave them alone. Just sitting there unplugged puts that switch into the "run" mode. Shorting those two wires in the harness together puts the quad into "spark killed" mode.

Yes, the connector for the tether switch into the wiring harness is usually about 6 inches (or so) from the back of the tether switch. That is where you unplug it.
