Default 06 predator 90cc

just picked up a 90cc predator for my kids and have one question. while riding under throttle going faster the oil light came on. I checked it and the tank is full. So i am just wandering if there is something else i should check out. No experience with these models at all so any help with anything would be great

The floats they used for the oil sensors were bad about soaking up oil over a period of time and sinking down triggering the light even with a full tank of oil. You can replace this assembly. Just pops out of the oil tank, replace with a new float assembly and hook up the electrical connector. $19.40 at Cycle parts Warehouse. OPT

What about 2 cycle oil? Do I need to run Polaris or will others work as long as its synthetic?

If your running the injector, most any 2 stroke oil (petroleum based or synthetic) is fine.
It should say for injection tho.
