Here's a scoop for you guys, my dealer just got his 2000 ATV accessories book in today and there is a speedometer available for a Xplorer 250, so I guess its safe to say there will be a Xplorer 250 for 2000.

They're probably reviving an old model. Like the old 250 4x4. It would still be interesting to see what ti looks like though

yes there is a 2000 250 polaris explorer see it on page 87 of sept dirt wheels.

From what I could tell, it looked exactly like a Trail Boss 250 4x4.

 

It has concentric chain drive to the rear and
shaft drive to the front using the 250
2-stroke engine.
