Default Ds650 Overheat

I just picked up a 2003 ds650 baja, the motor runs good. I took it out at night one time and i noticed that the exhaust pipes coming out of the cylinder were glowing red hot. What can be causing this? I have my air/fuel mixtures screw out 3 1/2 turns, i an not sure if the fan is turning on and off tho. Any help will be nice. Thanks you

A red exhaust is usually caused by excess, unburned fuel in the exhaust. The first thing I would check, is the rubber diaphram on top of the carburetor. Make sure there aren't any holes in it. Also, Make sure the air filter and exhaust aren't plugged.
