I have a 93’ 350L 4X4(2-stroke), to get more power out of it I’ve decided to invest in a new pipe and silencer in addition to a clutch kit, I want a low-end pipe and Clutch kit for more plowing and towing power. I think I’m gonna go with a Ritter Cycle pipe and silencer, it’s only about $250 and comparing to Hot Seat Performance Pipe, I read that the Hot Seat Pipe has a build in 3’’ silencer still for around $250, anyone have experience with either of these two pipes? I’m also planing on getting a clutch kit to get the full benefit form the new pipe, the only question I have is, I see that RCR has only clutch springs for around $20 bucks, and Hot seat has the whole kit for around $150. What are the differences in getting the whole kit compared to just the new springs what differences in performance would I see? And what is different about a roller clutch compared to the others? Any input would be appreciated.

I have a '94 Polaris 400L 4x4, which is very similar to your 350L. I too was once considering those types of mods, but decided against it. If you decide to get them, please post a thread telling everyone how you like them.

I would give RCR a call, I got Rick Ritter himself the 2 times I called and he was very knowledgable. You might want to consider on of his kits for $325 that includes an air filter and jets. Anytime you change a pipe you will net to rejet (unless it duplicates stock performance) so the machine will run right. Don't let that scare you off. I've done it several times and it is fairly easy on single cyclinder engines. Contact me at sabhburdick@netzero.net if you have any questions.
Scott.
