97 Polaris 400L engine swap

Default 97 Polaris 400L engine swap
I have a blown/cracked Polaris Scrambler 400L - 2 stroke.

Is it possible to put in a 400 4-Stroke instead?

Wiring harness,motor mounts would have to be altered,shift box, linkage,etc. Not saying no it can't be done, but a lot of work! If they can stuff 4 cylinder street bike engine in atvs then any things possible. Just study what's involved before you get in too deep. Might be better off scouring wrecking yards,Ebay etc,for a decent engine you could rebuild. OPT
