Question Oil Can Light Flashing In Gauge

Hi all. I am new here. First post.. I have a 2006 Arctic Cat 400 LE FIS. The oil can light is always flashing in my gauge. I install a new sensor the one right beside the oil filter and the light is still flashing. Also my gauge when you first start the bike does a complete needle sweep like 7 times till is settles down. Any ideas on the oil can light and if the needle sweeping is normal? My first Quad so I don't know much about it. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Ok so I checked and the needle sweeps 8 times. Only after I start the engine. If I just turn the key on everything is normal. As soon as the engine starts thats when it sweeps the needle and the oil can starts flashing right away.. Any ideas?

You could try a google search for any answers, lots of good info on other web sites and chat rooms that deal with Arctic Cat. Or, you could call a local dealer and get his feedback, but I'm sure they would want to "check it out for you" at a "reasonable" (ha) price.
