Default 2005 Yamaha Kodiak 450

When I turn the gas on, gas flows out the overflow tube out the bottom of the carburetor. Does anybody have any ideas on the cause and fix.

Rebuild the carb, your float is sticking!

yup, stuck float, or needle and seat is totally shot or very dirty, could have a speck of dirt or rust holding the needle open, then there is nothing to stop the fuel flow. Start with a good carb cleaning, making sure to pull the needle and seat and cleaning them as well. Then flip the carb over and blow into the fuel line port, if you can blow by the needle, it is shot and needs to be replaced.
